Are you stuck in that automatic pilot? Are you unable to relax and have problems with sleep? Is anxiety and panic preventing you from doing the things you once loved? Is negative thoughts and thinking preventing you from moving forward?
If you have answered YES to any of those questions, then Mindfulness sessions are for you.
Mindfulness, What Is It?
Mindfulness is basically the human ability to be fully present, being aware of where we are and what we are doing while not being overly reactive or overwhelmed by what is going on around us.
Mindfulness can be cultivated through proven techniques, such techniques can be learned within our sessions. Anyone can do mindfulness, it is a way of living, it is evidence based and can spark innovation.
Meditation, What Is It?
Meditation begins and ends in the body. It involves taking the time to pay attention to where we are, what is going on and this begins by being aware of the body. That simple act can be calming, our body has internal rhythms that help us to relax if we give it a change. Guided meditations are offered in our one to one sessions.
Alongside my counselling and psychotherapy practice I offer one to one mindfulness sessions that is tailored to your individual need and requirements. Mindfulness sessions take place in a calm and relaxed environment and are ideal for those who are unable to commit to my courses and workshops. One to one sessions are perfect for those individuals who find groups challenging and prefer a more individual approach.
There are many books and apps out there focussed on mindfulness that are readily available which for some individuals are just what they need, yet for many they need the support from an experienced mindfulness practitioner in order fully learn to embed the practice into their daily life. One to one sessions provide an opportunity for exploration of your experience in the moment. Sessions allow for flexibility and can be specifically focused around your needs, whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, emotional difficulties, chronic pain, long term health conditions, sleep problems or for those who would like to learn more about mindfulness to improve their quality of life.
